Obama freely admits refusal to enforce US law. It is the duty of congress to impeach him for this. We are waiting.

he recently had with Obama, one-on-one in the Oval Office. Kyl was speaking to a North Tempe town hall meeting on June 18, and relates Obama saying why he won't protect the US border. Cold Warrior at RedState.com transcribes Senator Kyl from video as he relates Obama's words:

• "“The problem is, . . . if we secure the border,
  
• then you all won’t have any reason to support ‘comprehensive immigration reform.’”

There were gasps in the audience.

• The senator continued (from Red State transcription of video): "“In other words,

• they’re holding it hostage.

They don’t want to secure the border unless and until it is combined with ‘comprehensive immigration reform.’”"

• He told the group that he reminded the president of his responsibility to secure the border.

• (I remain stunned that Kyl hasn't commenced impeachment proceedings. It is his duty to do so, the same as it is Obama's to guard the border. ed.)
