338,000 US Muslims think suicide bombing is justifiable at least sometimes, 416,000 US Muslims view Al Qaeda favorably, 2011 Pew Poll

13% of US Muslims think suicide bombing is justifiable at least some of the time. This amounts to 338,000 people in the US based on 2010 population of 2.6 million.



Next, per below, 16% of all US Muslims have at least a somewhat favorable view of Al Qaeda. That's 416,000 people. Among US born Black Muslims, 32% view Al Qaeda at least somewhat favorably. 60% of US Muslims are concerned about Muslim extremism which is 1,560,000 people in the US.
