"Former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and South Carolina’s Jim DeMint, leader of a tea party-backed faction in the U.S. Senate, will headline a get-out-the-vote rally for Texas Senate hopeful Ted Cruz on Friday in The Woodlands near Houston.
Palin and DeMint, who both have endorsed Cruz, have confirmed they’ll be at the Town Green Park in The Woodlands for the one-hour rally, which begins at 6 p.m., said Cruz spokesman James Bernsen.
Also scheduled to speak are two North Texans: Cathie Adams, a past state leader of the social conservative group Eagle Forum; and Dallas Tea Party activist Ken Emanuelson."...
