GOP insiders blame talk radio for allegedly interfering with their democrat agenda, Trent Lott in 2007, Frank Luntz in 2013

.
In both 2007 and 2013, a GOP insider complains about talk radio allegedly interfering with their plans for open borders, otherwise known as immigration:

4/25/13, "The Problematic Frank Luntz’s Stockholm Syndrome," Jeffrey Lord, American Spectator

Pathetic GOP adviser Frank Luntz: "And so that is a lot of what’s driving it. If you take—Marco Rubio’s getting his ass kicked....He’s getting destroyed! By Mark Levin, by Rush Limbaugh, and a few others. He’s trying to find a legitimate, long-term effective solution to immigration that isn’t the traditional Republican approach, and talk radio is killing him. That’s what’s causing this thing underneath."...via Mark Levin twitter (Where Mr. Levin correctly notes he hasn't bashed Sen. Rubio in the slightest, which is true. Mr. Rubio deserves bashing but Mr. Levin hasn't joined in.)

In 2007, GOP hairdo Trent Lott said talk radio is the problem with America. Lott also notes young guys in congress have to be silenced:

6/15/07, Senate Leaders Agree to Revive Immigration Bill, NY Times,” R. Pear, J. Zeleny
.
The Republican whip, Trent Lott of Mississippi, who supports the (immigration) bill, said:

“Talk radio is running America. We have to deal with that problem.

Further into the conversation Mr. Lott said, Senate Republican leaders may try to rein in “younger guys who are huffing and puffing against the (immigration) bill.”"...

Ed. note: What little was left of the GOP in Nov. 2008 should have been left to die a natural death. They were fine being invisible. They liked Obama and ObamaCare. The Tea Party is the only reason anyone started talking about the GOP again, but the Tea Party enraged the GOP. They didn't want the new people we gave them, they only want to be left alone. It's to their advantage for Democrats to be in power. As they've been saying since Nov. 2012, it's all over, we have to do what the other side wants, America has spoken, Republicans who were elected in 2012 don't count, only Obama counts. .
