Many in gov. knew a month ago that Boston bombing motive was Islam but kept it secret so it could be spun as 'a mystery' about some kids, that Americans should wonder how they made it happen-Carr

.
Government and media caused the Boston bombing, the bombings before it, and those to come. The US has been seen as weak for decades, advertises in bright lights that it despises its citizens, that we're greedy killers and could be dealt with by someone not "constrained."

5/17/13, "Note praising Allah
didn’t float PC boat," Howie Carr, Boston Herald

"Finally, we get the note in the boat — a month late.

Do you know how much media
effort has been devoted to
unearthing what Dzhokhar Tsarnaev apparently thought was his last will and testament? But somehow, the cops held it tight until yesterday.

Unconfirmed stories have circulated that in Dave Henneberry’s backyard in Watertown that Friday evening, the feds went so far as to check out the cellphones of the local cops, to make sure no one had snapped a photo of the note in the boat.

No big surprises in the note in the boat. The Joker said his brother Speedbump was a “martyr in paradise,” and that the victims in Boston were “collateral damage” for Muslim civilian casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan. He praised Allah and said, “When you attack one Muslim, you attack all Muslims.” Tell that to the Syrians, EBT boy.

The big question is, Why the monthlong blackout on the note in the boat? Why didn’t the feds release it immediately?

And the answer is obvious. It didn’t fit the Politically Correct narrative, that the reasons for this shocking atrocity remained a mystery, a riddle, an enigma, wink wink nudge nudge.

The Beautiful People were all toeing the PC line, that the bomber couldn’t have possibly been anybody except a cracker redneck Tea Party member. That was the unanimous verdict on MSNBC. Hey, it happened on Tax Day. That was David Axelrod’s theory. A blogger said he was praying that it was a “white” terrorist, because if the bombers were who they turned out to be, it would hurt Dear Leader’s agenda.

This Benghazi-like agitprop went right to the top.

Barack Obama, April 15: “We still do not know who did this, or why, and people shouldn’t jump to conclusions before we have all the facts.”

Technically, we didn’t know, but …

Deval Patrick, April 16: “There are times when all kinds of
forces conspire to make people think of categories of people sometimes in uncharitable ways.”

Even after he was arrested, the Joker was portrayed by the rumpswab media as a scrawny, floppy-haired “All-American boy.” Some stories are just too good to check out, especially if the facts will demolish Dear Leader’s talking points.

The note in the boat turned up Friday night. Seems likely that Deval Patrick knew what was in it soon thereafter. But that Sunday, he goes on “Face the Nation” and Bob Schieffer asks him if he has “any clearer idea” why the “two young men” did it.

Not yet, Bob. Uh, and it’s hard, it’s hard for me and for many to imagine what could motivate uh, people to, uh, harm, uh, innocent men, women and children, uh, in the way that, uh, these two fellows did.”

Was it really that hard to imagine? And how could you not know, if you had read the note in the boat?

All together now, repeat after me: Nothing to see here folks, move along!" via Free Republic

4/23/13, "When America Is Weak, Its Enemies Attack," Daniel Greenfield, FrontPageMag

===============================

10/20/11, "The lost decade," Angelo M. Codevilla, Claremont Institute

"At home, the American people are less free, less prosperous, more bitterly divided, and much less hopeful in 2011 than in 2001 because a decade of the War on Terror brought a government ever bigger and more burdensome, as well as “security” measures that impede the innocent rather than focusing on wrongdoers. Our ruling class justified its ever-larger role in America’s domestic life by redefining war as a never-ending struggle against unspecified enemies for abstract objectives, and by asserting expertise far above that of ordinary Americans. After 9/11, far from deliberating on the best course to take, our rulers stayed on autopilot and hit the throttles....

Because the Bush Administration took CIA director George Tenet’s snap judgment that Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda were responsible “game, set, and match” for 9/11 as a warrant for identifying them with America’s terrorist problem in general, it failed to ask the classic headwaters question: what is the problem?...

That would have pointed to the Middle East’s regimes, and to our ruling class’ relationship with them, as the problem’s ultimate source. The rulers of Iran, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the Palestinian Authority had run (and continue to run) educational and media systems that demonize America. Under all of them, the Muslim Brotherhood or the Wahhabi sect spread that message in religious terms to Muslims in the West as well as at home.

That message indicts America, among other things, for being weak.

And indeed, ever since the 1970s U.S. policy had responded to acts of war and terrorism from the Muslim world by absolving the regimes for their subjects’ actions. For example, when Yasser Arafat’s PLO murdered U.S. ambassador Cleo Noel, our government continued building friendly relations with Arafat, and romancing the Saudi regime that was financing him. Since then the U.S. government has given $2.5 billion to the PLO. Part of the reason was unwarranted hope, part was fear, and part was the fact that many influential Americans were making money in the Arab world....

In the American political marketplace of 2012, the American ruling class's stock is at a historic low. President Obama and nearly all who vie to replace him try to disassociate themselves from the decisions of the past decade. So do most of our elites. But since none explains and accuses his own errors, it is by no means clear whether any have learned from their mistakes. More important is what the rest of the country may or may not have learned. For us to understand how these mostly intelligent people could have made errors so big for so long requires understanding the principles they violated, and the moral as well as the intellectual dimensions of their errors. More difficult yet, both intellectually and morally, is the essential task of explaining the hard choices that will be required to deal with the troubles bequeathed us

Obama says he's "constrained" from taking certain actions against the American people:

5/13/13, "The IRS Merely Followed Through on Policies the Constitution Constrains Obama from Implementing Himself," Rush Limbaugh transcript

"Look at Obama in this statement in Denver.  "I am constrained, as they are constrained, by the system that our founders put in place."  That is an unwitting statement of truth.  He is constrained -- what does constrained mean?  It means things I can't do.  Why is he even thinking about things he can't do?  There are things he wants to do.  There are all kinds of executive orders and waiving of the presidential wand to make it happen he would love to do.  But the Constitution's in his way, and he wishes it weren't.

I don't look at this system as constraining.  I look at this system as liberating. I look at the US Constitution, the declaration, our founding documents as liberating.  Obama doesn't.  The Democrats don't.  They look at them as limiting them.  Liberating individual liberty and freedom, that's the problem, as far as Obama and his gang are concerned."

Obama lectures us after we've been slaughtered we must figure out what we did wrong:

4/20/13, "Why is Obama lecturing us? What did we do?" Free Republic poster Willliams

"Who was Obama lecturing? We just went through a terrorism situation. Not only did he refuse to use the word "terrorist", he gave us a long lecture about "not jumping to conclusions" about motives, religion, immigration, ethnicity. We were attacked and he lectured us about being good Americans....

I'm really wondering, when he said we must ask how people raised here and living among us can hate us and kill us - I think he meant

there is something wrong with US that makes people hate us.

Obama is far from the first liberal to believe there must be a reason people hate us. Just as Jeremiah Wright said America's chickens came home to roost.

I think Obama was angrily lecturing us because he's annoyed the terrorists are muslims and he's upbraiding us that it's unAmerican to even think that. We didn't do a damn thing wrong yet somehow he was wagging his finger at America because innocent people got blown up at the Boston Marathon. He was performing for his left wing base."
