Trump healthcare specifics include allowing Americans to purchase insurance across state lines, don't require people to purchase coverage for services they could never possibly use. Chapter 8, Dec. 2011 Trump book, "Time to Get Tough: Make America Great Again," updated edition soon to be published

.
"Time to Get Tough: Make America Great Again!" originally published Dec. 5, 2011, updated edition of paperback due 8/31/15.

Footnotes are provided at the end of the book for each chapter. In Chapter 8, "Repeal ObamaCare," Trump includes specifics on how he'd reform healthcare starting with allowing Americans to purchase insurance across state lines, and not forcing people to buy coverage for services they could never possibly use. He sees that costs have also escalated because of malpractice insurance and some of the ways in which lawsuits have evolved. He cites the example of former Vice Presidential candidate John Edwards who made $175 million in 12 years by suing doctors, insurance companies and hospitals (page 132). Trump suggests tort reform, putting a cap on some kinds of cases and instituting 'loser pays' in cases which are deemed baseless or frivolous. Following excerpts are from Chapter 8, page 131, allowing Americans to purchase healthcare plans across state lines:

These are a few of Trump's specifics on the issues from his Dec. 5, 2011 book. The book includes a detailed index for those interested. On the Amazon page for the paperback edition of the book, it lists the date August 31, 2015, so I'm guessing that's when the update will be out. The above paragraphs are of course copyright Donald Trump via kindle.

From Back Cover of the 2011 edition:

"From Donald J. Trump’s Time to Get Tough

I love America. I’m saddened by what I see happening to our country. We’re being humiliated, pushed around, disrespected, and badly abused. Obama was a leftist experiment that has failed and gone horribly wrong, and everyone knows it. Even friends of mine who voted for the guy privately admit that he’s been a huge disappointment. We cannot afford four more years of this mess. Our children’s futures are on the line—and we have to come through for them. We have to get tough so that our country can be great again.”
